Dosing device
Chemical addition
In order to improve the efficiency of reverse osmosis and nanofiltration systems, according to the design parameters such as raw water quality and system recovery rate, suitable chemical agents are selected in pretreatment, which can reduce fouling, scaling and membrane degradation, and greatly improve system efficiency.
Commonly used pretreatment agents: flocculants, fungicides, reducing agents, etc.
Dosing device
The water treatment system includes drinking water system, reclaimed water system, domestic sewage system, and industrial wastewater system. In order to ensure the good treatment effect of the system and meet the treatment standards, it is necessary to add some chemicals for coagulation, neutralization, and disinfection.
Chemical addition:
During this process, chemicals such as:
- Corrosion inhibitors (e.g. bicarbonate) to neutralize acids and protect metal components
- Algaecides and biocides (eg bromine) to reduce the growth of microorganisms and biofilms.
- Antiscalants (eg phosphoric acid) to prevent contaminants from forming scale deposits.
Thorough treatment prior to this stage helps reduce the amount of chemicals needed to treat the water in the process, considering that many chemical treatments can be expensive.
Details
Several common problems and causes of circulating water systems:
Corrosion: During the circulating use of cooling water, the water is in full contact with the air in the cooling tower, so that the dissolved oxygen in the water is too saturated, and the dissolved oxygen in the water will cause corrosion of metal pipes such as carbon steel and cast iron.
Scaling: The continuous evaporation of water in the cooling tower greatly increases the salt content in the circulating water, and the calcium carbonate and carbonate in the water greatly increase, resulting in scaling on the surface of the pipeline and uneven surface heat transfer.
Sludge: The cooling water absorbs a lot of inorganic organic substances such as dust, sediment, and microorganisms in the air. Since the light, temperature, and oxygen in the cooling tower are very suitable for the growth of bacteria and algae, the increase in the slime in the system causes the system hazard.
The cooling circulating water is usually added with chemicals such as slow-release scale inhibitor, bactericidal algaecide, acid, etc. to ensure the normal and stable operation of the system.
